Al llarg deld dies 8-15 d’abril diversos alumnes de 3r d’ESO van fer un intercanvi amb Alemanya per practicar el seu anglès. Aquest és el diari de l’experiència que la professora acompanyant Montse Pi va encarregar al grup d’alumnes:
Dilluns
Aquest ha sigut el primer dia de l’estada a Alemanya. A les 8 del matí ens hem llevat la Paula i jo. Ens hem vestit i m’ha fet un “house tour”. La seva casa és xulíssima i molt ben decorada. Tot seguit hem anat a esmorzar i ens hem preparat el dinar. A les 8:55 hem sortit de casa per anar a l’institut. Molts ja estaven reunits a la cafeteria del centre. Ens hem saludat i ens hem assegut a les taules per escoltar el discurs del director mentre menjàvem uns entrepans deliciosos. Un cop acabat, hem anat la Paula, la Mariona, la Rebecca, l’Ariadna, la Chiara i jo a fer una volta per l’institut. Tenen un escenari enorme al mig del centre i té bastants pisos. Quan hem acabat, hem anat al pati, i allà han trobat una paperera on hi havia el meu nom escrit. Es veu que Alba és una marca de papereres. Ha sigut bastant ridícul tot plegat. Cap a les 12 hem anat a l’estació de tren per anar a Colònia a fer l’activitat d’escalada. Ha sigut molt divertit: primer ningú s’atrevia a pujar, però quan hem agafat confiança semblàvem tots aranyes. A les tres, l’activitat s’ha acabat i hem anat al poble una altra vegada. A la Paula i a mi ens ha vingut a recollir la seva mare en cotxe. Hem arribat a casa i tot seguit hem agafat les bicicletes per anar al centre del poble. Havíem quedat unes quantes per anar a fer un gelat… i quin gelat! Jo he agafat una copa enorme de gelat de iogurt amb pinya i maduixa! Un cop satisfetes, hem anat a fer una volta pel bosc, ja que allà hi havia animals i ens feia gràcia tocar-los. Per acabar de rematar, els animals que hem anat a veure han sigut cabres. I vinga, Alba Cabrafiga, l’Ariadna no parava de riure. Entre les papereres i que jo era la reina de les cabres, avui ha estat un dia molt graciós. Tot i això ens ho hem passat molt bé totes i tots.
This has been the first day in Germany. At 8 o’clock we woked up and while Rebecca had a shower I have got dressed. Then we have had breakfast and we have made our lunch. At 8:55 we left home. And we met the other partners of the exchange at the hihg school’s cafe. Then the director made a speech while we ate a delicious breakfast. After that Alba, Rebecca, Paula, Ariadna, Chiara and I went on a high school tour. It had a ground floor and three extra floors. In the playground we saw a garbage bin with Alba written on it, so Alba is a “bin’s brand”. It wa very funny. At 12 o’clock we took a train to go to Köln to climb. At first no one wanted to climb but then we saw that it wasn’t as difficult as we thought. In the afternoon we ate an ice cream. After that, Rebecca, her cousin, her friend, and I went climbing. At first i was so afraid because there weren’t ropes to hold you. Finally we went home and we ate our dinner
Dimarts
Avui hem anat a Bonn. Hem aprofitat per visitar un museu sobre la història d’Alemanya. Un cop dins al museu, ens han deixat anar per lliure fent el recorregut que ens deia un aparell que ens anava informant sobre la visita. Llavors, hem tornat al bus i hem fet una volta pel centre de la ciutat. El bus ens ha deixat sobre d’un turó on hem vist la ciutat i ens hem fet una foto. Per últim , hem fet una volta pel centre de Bonn on hem pogut comprar souvenirs i voltar una estona pel centre.
Today we’ve been to Bonn. We have visited a history museum, which was about the history of Germany. When we were inside, the teachers let us visit it for free. So we just followed the tour indicated in the audio guide. Next, we’ve been sightseeing around Bonn and after that, the bus driver took us to the top of a cliff to have a wonderful view of all the city. There we took amazing photos. Finally, we hanged out around the city and could buy some nice souvenirs .
Dimecres
Dimecres ens vam aixecar amb energia per fer una primera intensa hora de classe. Després ens vam trobar tots a l’entrada de l’institut per agafar un minibus per anar a visitar un edifici on ens van explicar com funciona l’extracció de carbó per aconseguir energia elèctrica, es treu el carbó amb màquines molt grans, el seleccionen i amb cintes transportadores porten la quantitat necessària al lloc d’arribada més proper perque no perdi l’aigua que contenia després de ser extret de la terra. Més tard ens van portar a visitar la maquinària i la mina en general per així entendre millor la funció d’aquest espai anomenat Tagebau Garzweiler
On Wednesday we got up with energy to start the first hour in class. Afterwards ,we all met at the entrance of the high school to take a minibus to visit a museum. There they told us how the coal extraction for electric energy works. The coal is extracted with very large machines.First they select it and with conveyor belts they carry the necessary amount to the nearest arrival place because it costs a lot to transport it and it is very heavy. Later ,they took us to visit the machinery and mine. In general,we managed to understand the function of this place called Tagebau Garzweiler.
Dijous
El dijous va ser probablement un dels millors dies de l’intercanvi. Vam visitar Köln, una ciutat preciosa i amb molta història.
Ens vam aixecar bastant aviat,com era de costum; vam preparar-nos i vam fer camí cap a l’institut. Allà cadascú va fer la classe que li tocava,i a les nou i mitja ens vam retrobar a l’entrada de l’institut.
Un cop hi vam ser tots,ens vam dirigir cap a l’estació de trens per prendre un tren en direcció a Köln.
En sortir de l’estació,en el que tothom es va fixar va ser en l’imponent edifici que va aparèixer davant nostre,la catedral de Köln. Tots estàvem desitjant visitar-la,però abans el guia amb el que anàvem ens va fer una petita introducció de la ciutat i la seva història.
Llavors si,que vam poder pujar fins al capdamunt de la catedral,que no era precisament petita. Crec que mai en la meva vida havia pujat tantes escales,però realment les vistes de la ciutat que hi havia des de dalt de l’edifici valien la pena.
En tornar a ser a baix,vam poder gaudir d’un parell d’hores lliures que vam aprofitar per conèixer una mica més la ciutat i fer algunes compres en les nombroses botigues que hi havia al centre.
A les 3, ens vam reunir a la plaça de la catedral i vam anar cap a l’estació per prendre el tren de tornada.
Pels volts de les 4,vam arribar a Grevenbroich i cadascú va marxar amb el seu alemany.
Tot i així,cap a les 5,la majoria ens vam reunir en un bonic parc i vam aprofitar el bon dia que feia per fer un pícnic,tot escoltant música i menjant.
Finalment,al cap d’un parell d’hores,tothom va començar a marxar cap a casa,per prendre una dutxa relaxant,sopar i anar a dormir,ja que l’endemà tocava matinar.
Jo vaig caure rendida al llit de tan cansada com estava, però realment havia estat un dia magnífic.
Thursday was probably one of the best days of the exchange programme. We visited Köln, a beautiful city with a lot of history.
We got up pretty soon, as usual; We prepared everything and we went to the high school. There everyone went to class, and at half past nine we met again at the entrance of the High School.
When everyone was there, we went to the train station and we took a train to Köln.
When we left the station, what everyone was looking at was the huge building that appeared in front of us, the cathedral of Köln. We were all looking forward to visiting it, but our guide made a small introduction of the city and its history, before visiting the cathedral.
So we climbed to the top of the Cathedral, which was not exactly quite high. I think that in my life, I had not gone up so many stairs, but the views of the city from the top of the building were worth it.
After enjoying the cathedral views, we had a couple of free hours that we used to get to know the city a bit more and to go shopping around the big city.
At 3 o’clock, we met in the square of the cathedral and went to the station to take the train back.
And at 4 o’clock, we arrived at Grevenbroich and everyone left with their German partners.
Around 5 o’clock, most of us gathered in a beautiful park and took advantage of the good day. So we had a picnic, listened to music and ate.
Finally, after a couple of hours, everyone started to go home. Then, we had a relaxing shower, dinner and went to sleep, because we knew that the next day we would have to wake up very early.
So I fell asleep in bed as tired as I was, but it really was a great day.
Divendres
Divendres al matí, cadascú va fer classe amb el seu alemany, només una hora. Després, només catalans ens vam trobar tots a l’entrada de l’institut per anar a Düsseldorf amb tren. Quan vam arribar a Düsseldorf vam agafar un tramvia que ens va portar al centre de la ciutat. Un cop arribats ens van ensenyar edificis importants. Després vam pujar a la Rheinturm, que és un edifici molt alt des d’on es pot veure tota la ciutat. Les vistes eren molt maques però feia bastant impressió veure la ciutat als teus peus. Allà dalt de la torre alguns vam menjar un Pretzel que és un menjar típic d’allà. Més tard, vam baixar de la torre i vam estar passejant per la ciutat, ens van ensenyar l’ajuntament, el parlament i altres. Llavors, ens van deixar temps lliure per anar per la ciutat. Vam comprar souvenirs i alguns van menjar un Frankfurt. Després vam passejar una mica més per la ciutat en grup i finalment vam marxar amb tren cap a Grevenbroich. Després, tots vam anar amb els nostres corresponents alemanys i cadascú va passar la tarda d’una manera diferent amb la família. Cap a les sis de la tarda tots ens vam trobar a l’institut, on cada família va portar alguna cosa per menjar. Vam estar menjant i parlant tots junts. Els professors alemanys ens van donar les gràcies i es van acomiadar de nosaltres. Més tard, alguns van anar a casa i I d’altres van anar a prendre un gelat per la ciutat. Finalment, vam marxar a casa i així es va acabar el dia.
On Friday morning, each one had a lesson, only for an hour. Then, only the Catalan students met in the institute’s forum to go to Düsseldorf by train. When we arrived in Düsseldorf we took a tram that took us to the center of the city. When we arrived we were shown important buildings. Then we went up to Rheinturm, which is a very tall building from where you can see the whole city. The views were very nice since we could see the city at our feet. There on top of the tower some of us ate a Pretzel which is a typical food from there. Later, we got off the tower and we walked around the city, they showed us the city hall, parliament and others buildings. Then, we had free time to go around the city. We bought souvenirs and some ate a Wurst. Then we walked a bit more and finally we left on a train to Grevenbroich. Then, we all went with our corresponding Germans and everyone spent the afternoon in a different way with the family. Around six in the afternoon we all met at the high school, where each family brought something to eat. We ate and talked all together. The German professors thanked us and they said goodbye to us. Later, some went home and others went for an ice cream in the city. Finally, we went home and that’s how the day was over.
Dissabte
Aquest matí hem anat a Düsseldorf un altre cop per fer un picnic al costat del riu amb la seva família i l’alumna d’intercanvi de la germana de la Chiara (l’alemanya amb la què he estat tots aquests dies). Hem menjat algunes coses que han portat de casa i després hem descansat una estona. A la tarda hem anat uns quants alumnes i les seves parelles de l’intercanvi a jugar mini-golf i després hem anat a menjar una pizza, on s’hi han afegit l’Alba i la Paula. Quan hem acabat de menjar hem anat a menjar un gelat i hem estat una estona parlant.
This morning we went to Düsseldorf again to have a picnic next to the river with our host families and the exchange student of the sister of Chiara (the German I had been all these days with). We ate some things that they had brought home and then we relaxed for a while. In the afternoon we went to play mini-golf with a few students and their exchange partners and then we went to eat a pizza, where Alba and Paula came too. When we finished eating we went to eat an ice cream and we talked for a while.
Diumenge
Últim dia. Dia trist per tots nosaltres.
Em llevo a les deu del matí i baixo a esmorzar com tots els dies. Podirem dir que aquest va estar diferent… amb la meva alemana ens vam apalancar casi bé tot el matí al sofà, mirant la sèries “Vampire Diaries”. A la una i mitja aproximadament vam dinar un plat d’espagettis ben calents i seguidament vam marxar a l’aeroport.
Com a anècdota molt interessant, dir que en el control de l’avió em van llençar, la meva crema de cacauet!
Aquest cop agafem l’avió amb molta puntualitat i no ve pas amb endarreriment.
Les dues horetes q vam estar a l’avió van passar volant. Un cop erem a Girona vam agafar un bus i aproximadament a les nou de la nit erem a Figueres, un cop allà els nostres camins es van separar.
Last day. Sad day for all of us I take it at 10 in the morning and breakfast at breakfast every day. We can say that this was different … with my German we leaned almost all morning on the couch, watching the series “Vampire Diaries.” At about one and a half we ate a plate of hot spaghetti and then went to the airport.
As an anecdote very interesting, say that in the control of the plane they threw, my peanut cream!
This time we take the plane very quickly and it does not happen soon.
The two rooms we were on the plane were flying. Once we were in Girona we took a bus and about nine at night in Figueres, once there our paths separated.
